Important information regarding the upcoming Holiday.

Thursday, July 4th (Independence Day) and Friday, July 5th will be a nationally recognized LTL service holiday for all types of service Standard, Guaranteed and Time-Critical shipments.

Pick-up and delivery service for Time-Critical services is available on Independence Day by contacting the Customer Support Team (1.305.400.4769) with enough anticipation to quote and book the shipment.

It is our intent to pickup and deliver Time-Critical shipments on the holiday if requested. There are procedures in place to ensure we are properly compensated for these services and we do not want to miss any opportunities. A holiday charge will apply for Time-Critical shipments requiring a pick-up or delivery on Thursday, July 4th (Independence Day).

Impact to Standard and Guaranteed services:

Thursday, July 4th (Independence Day) and Friday, July 5th are LTL service holidays which adds 2 additional days to the service calculation for both Standard and Guaranteed shipments since July 4th and July 5th will not be counted as service days.

• Example: A Guaranteed by Noon or by 5 PM shipment with a 3-day service standard picked up on Wednesday, July 3rd will be scheduled to deliver on Wednesday, July 10th.

• Example: A Guaranteed by Noon or by 5 PM shipment with a 3-day service standard picked up on Monday, July 1st will be scheduled to deliver on Monday, July 8th.
